I started looking at the Genesis to replace a current vehicle. My initial contact was with Jerome Pamatmat, I found him to be very helpful and informative. He knowledge of the GV80 was excellent and he answered all my questions. I first visited the showroom and it is not that nice yet. I suspect once, we are out of the lock down it will get better. After I viewed the car, Jerome brought one around to my house for a test drive. I decided to purchase the vehicle. They offered me a reasonable amount for my trade in and we made some adjustments mid deal. All good. Everything done on line. Delivered to my house this morning.

I purchased a 2019 G90 from the Genesis web site and the delivery was through Ajax Genesis with Jerome Pamatmat as the Genesis Experience Manager. I can honestly say that it was the best vehicle purchase experience I have had in 30 years, from North American cars to German luxury vehicles. Within minutes of selecting the color and vehicle type I received a call from Jerome following up with information and delivery options etc. The web site was a unique experience in buying a car and I don't think I would go back to the old ways. Within a few hours I had a trade in value on my previous car, delivery dates on the new car and consistent follow up. As much as I appreciate the web site purchase, the follow up from Jerome was really what sold me on the experience. The delivery date and time came as planned (even though the roads were snow covered and icy) and the car was delivered in a Genesis special built display trailer (look for images online to see it). I had over an hour of time spent with the manager going through all the features of the vehicle. All of the paperwork from ownership to sales invoice was a 5 minute transaction - something I appreciate as I've spent endless hours at a dealership in the past getting that sorted. I had a brand new car delivered and my trade taken in, in less time than it takes to write this review. I would not hesitate to purchase from this dealership again. The follow up alone on the vehicle has been outstanding
From start to end it’s was a great experience working with the Genisis Team here in Ajax. I’ve owned many Mercedes and Infiniti vein hikes and have gone through there customer service and can tell you that Jerome on the team took great care of me. I saw some comments below on the delay with car deliveries on the GV80, which I think is completely unfair. Genesis delivery from Korea is not controlled by the dealership, and Jerome and the team kept me up to date and did everything they could to help get me my GV80. Great service and we are lucky to have a dealership in Durham like this.
This location is a joke. Their show room looks like an abandoned lot, no logo, no sign, no display vehicle, no stock, no nothing. There is no communication from the sales rep or the team in regards to my pre-order, I had to keep chasing them to learn that there is a public showing in September and takes them 2-3 business days to reply my email. I asked him if there will be delays in delivery and even mentioning I understood if there is delay due to COVID, they were so positive that I would get mine GV80 on time by end of September or early October. I was extremely unhappy with my experience that I had to transfer my pre-order to another dealership who knows customer service.
I don't want to mention the name of the guy but a sales representative from this dealership is not even aware of seat options for upcoming GV80. He told me it's only 5 seaters. Just for reference: I have reservation for 3.5T Prestige for GV80 and it comes with 7 seats.
