Victor and Staff are wonderful., understanding, helpful and cost effective. we had great success with our dogs we bring here. all surgeries, vetting and appointments have been excellent even during the pandemics. we really appreciate their handwork.

I have found that the staff at Gateway Veterinary Services love their job, take the responsibility of caring for, and treating, my animals very seriously. They seem to understand the “personalities” of each animal and treat them with great respect. I have found that they listen carefully, and conscientiously, to the symptoms that I have observed & described. When we cannot make my animal’s life pain-free & comfortable, Victor is quick to respond and help their passing with dignity. Our experience at Gateway Vet Services has been great. We are fortunate to have Victor as our vet. He is very knowledgeable and gives you all the options when caring for your pets. He finds a treatment that is good for your pet and still fits within your budget. The vet techs are very caring and compassionate. We have had 2 elderly dogs put down recently, and the staff was so gentle and loving. They are awesome with small pets, and also with our horses. The front desk staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that Gateway gives back to the community. They support local 4H clubs which is awesome!! We are very blessed to have such a great Vet is our area. Well worth the hour's drive for us that's for sure. I highly recommend Gateway Vet Services.

We were visiting friends out of town on a long weekend (Of course) with our horses and one of our horses went lame after a ride. Someone recommended Dr. Victor. We called the after hours number, he answered right away, was able to meet us right away and after a quick assessment was able to Re-align our horse and get him moving and pain free again. I was expecting a 1000 vet bill but was only a couple hundred dollars including long weekend call-in! He was personable & answered all my questions. I wish we lived closer to Melfort so he could be our regular vet! Next time we come visit our friends who lives in the area, I’ll be booking in a chiro session with him for our horses!
