Great little spot in the city, with a park like feel. Lots of shade trees. Full service site is what we usually get. Showers are clean and well kept washrooms available as well. Right next to walking paths if you so choose to go for a walk. Friendly staff every time we have gone.

What a great little campground. Bear in mind that this is a municipal campground, so expect that you will be a little closer to your neighbour than you might be in a Provincial or National site. There are plenty of trees and green spaces. Three toilet/shower blocks with a dish washing station in the toilet block close by the tent only area. Even though we are a couple travelling on motorcycles and sleeping in a tent, we booked a RV site because I need power for my CPAP machine (sure would be nice if campgrounds provided some tenting sites with 15A 120V outlets for tent campers - at a premium rate ofcourse). The down side with that is that the site does water the grass around the RV sites every night between midnight and six, so be aware that if you leave anything out on the grass areas it will get wet. And if you park your RV over the edge of the large parking area, you will get noise from the water hitting your vehicle. We knew about this because the campground does have clear warning notices in various locations - other people that have complained about this clearly were not paying attention and seem to be the type of people that cannot hold themselves accountable for their own mistakes. The little shop at the office is handy. It's a bit hard to carry ice and firewood on a motorbike tour so it was nice to be able to have some ice with my rum while we sat around a fire. We will definitely stay here again.
Close to everything. Well maintained. Nice lots with level gravel pads and well kept lawn. Lots of shower facilities. Nice and clean. Free I did find the shower pressure is lacking and the water didnt get hot enough for me. I would have liked a shelf in the shower for putting my shampoo and soap on instead of on the floor. Be sure to check out the carvings throughout the campground
I chose Gas city because there are many good reviews. The campground is very well kept. The showers and toilets are clean. No laundry service yet due to covid. It’s quiet after 10pm. It’s close to the city. However, I think it’s a bit expensive. It’s as much as campground in Ontario. There is a 10 registration fee you have to pay.
A lot of sites were large and spacious. Unfortunately our site was very tiny and had a lot of tree stumps sticking out of the ground and uneven to walk. It made it difficult to gather or even just sit outside. It was very quiet though and very nice campground. I also didn't like how the campground near us can see right into our campsite and they were smoking weed and the smell was coming into our RV.
We enjoyed our camping experience thoroughly. Nice sites. Plenty of washrooms spaced around the grounds. Discovering the tree sculptures was a pleasant surprise. We would definately recommend staying there when in the area.
We just visited our family at this campground. I found the workers friendly and very helpful. I would love to camp there all the time.
We arrived on Friday night, booked into a site. Paid for 2 nights had to pay a reservation fee???? We didn't deserve we have yet paid. On Saturday we had to move to another site and pay a 10.00 reservation fee again. All the campers around us had to do the same????? Very poor booking. Why not put new campers in the empty site and let the campers that have already arrive stay where they are???? Clean campground thou. Just poor management.
