If you’re visiting Gabriola, you need to stop in at the visitor centre. Find out anything from where to eat, where to swim, where to hike, or when the farmers markets are. Free wifi, washroom, and a computer are available for use in the office.

I accompanied my husband who had a seminar on Gabriola Island. I only had a few hours to conquer the island. The friendly lady at the visitor center asked me what I was looking for and I told her my love for nature photography. \I highlight some beautiful secret places for you that are not shown as tourist attractions on the map\ she told me with enthusiastically. I left the center with a big smile and enjoyed my short stay at this beautiful island very much.

I ride a ebike and getting around Gabrolia Island is fun and easy.Some fantastic sites along Berry Point Rd.While your at it check out Gabriola Sands and Descanso Bay Regional Park.The island is small with some great provincial parks to rom about.
