Was pretty hesitant coming here as there were a lot of mixed reviews. Overall a super pleasant experience. The receptionist was very thorough and patient while explaining the membership options. Julia was super professional and did a great job. Brazilians will never not hurt...the initial tug to get a bit of the wax loose to actually remove the hair does hurt a bit but overall it hurts less than traditional waxing methods. Prices are reasonable with a membership. Highly recommended :)

I am not one to write negative reviews, however I had a TERRIBLE experience getting my eyebrows waxed yesterday. The lady who did my eyebrows didn't ask first if the temperature of the wax was too hot. It was, and it burnt my skin. I left completely swollen and as I am writing this a day later, my red rash is still there. On top of this, the woman working at the front desk had her mask below her nose and at one point didn't have the mask covering her mouth at all. Completely unacceptable. For the premium they charge for waxing, their service and commitment to health & safety should be top notch. Taking my business elsewhere. I would NOT recommend you use this wax bar. Save your money and protect your precious skin.

So my first experience at this place was not good and I left a feedback on their website, after which they listened to all my issues. They assigned me a more senior aesthetician. She was very well experienced. I had an almost painless waxing experience, which is not that common for me. Totally recommend trying this location!

It was my very first time getting a Brazilian and I’m so glad I chose Fuzz wax bar. Alicia was very informative and Christine went in like a pro. A test strip was done for me to ensure the temperature of the hard wax was ok. Christine also walked me through the process as I was unsure what to expect. Once my service was complete I opted into getting a Fuzz Faithful membership. I’m pleased to know that it will keep me on a strict schedule. The cashless pay was seamless. I plan on getting my upper lip and nose done tmrw. The Yonge Sheppard location is located conveniently underneath my gym. I’m very excited for many waxes to come !

I have been here about 4-5 times now and will never go ever again. I have slightly sensitive skin and received waxes from several different aestheticians which resulted in my skin being removed, deep bruises and scars. I kept going there because of convenience but am absolutely done. I have complained a few times but see very inexperienced people doing waxes and the wax itself isn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend people going here especially if they have slight sensitive skin.

I went into Fuzz Waxbar inside Sheppard Centre for my first wax since March due to COVID19. Christine was my Fuzzologist and my entire experience with her was amazing. She made my Brazilian wax quick, PAINLESS and very comfortable for me. She was very friendly, professional and extremely sanitary from start to finish. I look forward to seeing her again!
