I went to the computer repair people twice, both times receiving poor customer service. All they did was replace parts of my computer that were in good working order (in other words, not the root of the problem, as the problem remained). The second time, it took them over a week to tell me they actually couldn't do anything for me. Replacing a good hard drive is not the same as fixing a problem. I could have done that myself. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

Hit and Miss. It used to be lacking with rude staff, but my most recent visit saw amazing cell service and incredible customer appreciation. I ended up getting my smart phone for half the price I would have paid anywhere else, because they honoured a deal that had restrictions without abiding them.
It's basically a retail store, The staff don't have much experience\\ Do your own research. If you have computer PART trouble contact the manufacture. This store just sells things not help you fix things.
Mani, Nema and the tech man helped me to replace my broken computer while I was on an out-of-town business trip, very quickly and efficiently. They helped me problem solve solutions and went out of their way to get me the right computer within my budget from another location without delay. Thanks, guys, for all you help!
My mom and I recently dealt with this FS location because she had bought me a projector screen for Christmas. It arrived via Canada Post from the warehouse bent in half, and it was FS's last one, so the store manager Nick upgraded it for her to a higher quality brand. A few days after the replacement arrived, she realized that I would be challenged to get it back to my house in Ottawa. Nick suggested that she return it and they would order a new one to be delivered at my house, no charge; I decided to exchange it for one with a different aspect ratio, and the price difference was only on the upgraded version. It was a very efficient and pleasant transaction, and the screen should arrive tomorrow (2 days after the order was placed). My mom also dealt with the cell phone folks while she was there, and reported that she received excellent service from that department. Perhaps the other bad reviews were from previous staff that have turned over.
I have had the worst experience at the local Burlington Future Shop store. I purchased a home theatre on April 4th, 2012. Installation was scheduled on March 10th.....and as of today's date, my home theatre still doesn't work. I've been told I cannot have a refund, because we are now past their 30 day policy (even though my home theatre has never worked 100%)! The sales team sold me incorrect products and on three occasions had to fix their errors. Connect Pro specialists have been to my home at least 6 times, and I think 5 differenet specialists have been involved to diagnose the problem - the last couple seem to care and have really tried, but still cannot make the system work. I even emailed Future Shop's customer care group.....and have been told, five times that they have escalated this to the highest priority and someone, other than the store management would call me.....to date, nobody (other than the store have called me). I originally bought the home theatre to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs.......then was hoping at minimum to watch the Olympics.......little did I know it was going to likely be the 2014 Winter Olympics!! The worst sales and customer experience I have ever had. I guess once the sale is made and they had my money, I didn't matter anymore. What a shame on their brand and wanting customer loyalty. Whatever happened to someone 'owning' a customer concern and seeing it through to resolution. I will never shop at Future Shop again and will be telling everybody I know about the experience.
THis store has the worst customer service attitude I have seen in many years. The salesman at the phone counter was not the least bit interested in assisting me with finding a battery for a phone I bought there only 1 year ago. He tells me that they don't carry batteries and that I should go find one at a the source,(which I did and their customer service was excellent) or a kiosk. I asked if they could order one and was told that they don't do that. Clearly, the sales person was only interested in selling phones and plans the first time around. I will never go to this (or any other for that matter) future shop again., I hightly recommend passing this store. Mike Cole
Had the worst customer service experience at the burlington store. Even worst management didn't care. If I could give it a zero star I would. Will never step foot inside store again.
