My wife and I had 3 local companies quote on a deck addition to our home. Frontier was not the least expensive but Jonathan impressed us with his low key, but knowledgeable, approach to sales. This was a challenging year with material shortages, supply delays, and material price increases. Frontier was very good about communication, and Tammy stayed in contact with us about work scheduling, and advising us when the team would be onsite. When materials did become available Paul and the crew were very efficient and professional. Paul especially took the time to explain the building process to me; I admire his patience. When the work was completed we had a deck that looks even better than we hoped, and within the budget we had planned for.

Frontier Fencing did a fantastic job installing Medallion ornamental iron fence at our home. Gerald and James were our installers and they went WAY above and beyond what we thought the finished job would be. Nothing was rushed, and yet they were quick and efficient. Everything about the job was thorough and perfect. When they ran into a couple road blocks (trees, gas line, etc), they found solutions that satisfied us. They did not leave until we were 100% satisfied with the project and we couldn't have asked for a better service from the first step (quote)to the last step. Thank you so much guys!!! We would recommend Frontier Fencing and use them again for our fencing needs anytime.

DO NOT USE FRONTIER! We called Frontier about having a fence built in our backyard and were put in touch with Jonathan. He gave us a rough quote over the phone to do the job for 10,000. He said he would have to come out to get proper measurements for a firm quote. To secure him coming out we were asked to pay 225 plus HST (a charge no other contractor asked for). Since he was the first person we called and his price was inline with what we expected, we accepted this in person quote fee knowing the charge would go towards the final bill. After coming he sent us a quote which totalled over 24,000. He charged us 85 a foot and 1350 per door. (Every other contractor we spoke with charges between 55-65 a foot.) Tried contacting for over 2 weeks with no calls returned. Jonathan has since emailed and blamed lack of response on 2 employees having Covid, (though he mentioned his team isn't working at this time of year, so not sure how that works?) In any case Tammy who I spoke with could have mentioned this when I called repeatedly. He has refused to return the 225 even though his quote is more than double his rough quote over the phone. I am a firm supporter of small businesses, especially during these trying times, but this is a SCAM. DON'T BE LIKE US, GET FREE QUOTES, GET LOTS OF THEM. THERE ARE WAY BETTER AND MORE HONEST COMPANIES OUT THERE.
I called them for an estimate on a wed 2pm and a rep visited me un Hamilton thur 12pm.. very fast response and the guy was very professional with no agressive sales tacticts. highly recommended
