The first Olive oil/balsamic bars in the city. This has always been my favorite place to shop for these items. The staff have always been exceptionally nice. The have white and red balsamic. Their Olive oils range from pure extra virgin to spicy ones with heat. They also have other oils like sesame. The setup is friendly where you can taste everything before you buy. No buyers remorse here. Parking is typical corydon parking. It's often hard to find a spot but you can luck out.

Very cool shop. Friendly staff greeted us with grand sommelier levels of knowledge on pairings of oil and vinegar. Reasonable prices for premium product. Have yet to be disappointed.
I wish I had found this place earlier, much earlier. Fantastic selection and an opportunity to taste the oils and vinegars before you buy them. The friendly staff helped me with good suggestions and I left entertained and educated. I would recommend allocating some time for the experience, best shared, of course. If you're fine tuning your cooking this could be the answer.
I am going to say right up front that I have a family connection to Frescolio and I volunteer there once a week. Frescolio is locally owned with two locations: 929 Corydon and a second location on St Mary's Rd. Frescolio sells the highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar. They buy all their oil and vinegar from one supplier. There are so many choices and so many price points. It is a great place for Host Gifts and Holiday Shopping. There are hand-made oil and vinegar bottles and bread dipping trays made by local artists Mud and Stone. The stores also feature paintings for sale by local artist Sharon Cory. Drop by and sample products as this is set up for tasting! Staff are friendly, well-trained and knowledgeable. The Frescolio website contains product information, pairing suggestions and links to recipes. Judge for yourself.
