Not sure the name of the gentleman I spoke with on the phone, but after exhausting my resources looking for d-ring patches for my paddle board, I gave this place a call. Although they don’t carry deck rigging kits or d-ring patches, he chatted with me on the phone for about 10 minutes asking every little detail about what I was trying to complete, suggesting alternatives to what I was looking for, and ways I could easily complete this at home. Seriously some of the best customer service I have ever received. I will definitely make a point to stop in to the store if I’m ever in the area, thanks to this gentleman’s outstanding customer service. Thanks again!

What an awesome course. In one day Roger helped my girlfriend and I make incredible black cherry canoe paddles. It was such an amazing class and he was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Such a great birthday gift.
Roger is so warm and welcoming, and looking forward to seeing how our new gunwales look after we stained them ourselves. Can't wait to paddle in our newly restored canoe with Roger's TLC!
I contacted Roger out of desperation to get my kevlar canoe repaired two weeks before a camping trip. He was very accommodating and had it repaired quickly and charged very little. He also showed me a better way to rig the canoe on my truck which was very helpful. Thanks Roger!
We had an excellent experience carving out our paddles! Under Roger's direction, we were able to take a slab of raw cheery plank wood and create quality canoe paddles that we will enjoy for years to come. Rogers experience and guidance had everyone in the class understanding his step by step process of crafting their very own canoe paddle. I would recommend this one day class to all of my outdoor enthusiast friends. Roger also offers classes on canoe building/maintenance and repair. I look forward to returning to Carlisle Canoe for a canoe build in the near future.
