I called library today and spoke with a nice lady named Jill. She briefed me so nicely and politely all the relevant and asked irrelevant information. My experience was extremely nice and overwhelming.

A fantastic place to bring your kids for free entertainment. There is a 0-24m age play corner, a duplo table, a computer touch table, several computers for older kids, any and every book your kids would want to read. Grab and go bags full of books, colouring/crafts tables, and plenty of things for adults as well (adult computers, study rooms, a room with instruments and other hands on learning tools, etc.) The free coffee provided is not much more than hot brown water, but I guess you can’t complain about something that’s free :) Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a room for drop in and registered programs, but there is often a wait list for the registered programs. They also often have books for sale at a very good price (kids books 50c chapter books 1).
I’ve been to a lot of libraries in Edmonton and was pleasantly surprised to find out there was one in the Fort when I first moved here. The facility is spacious, well-maintained, and has a good variety of materials. There are various interesting programs offered. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall I am very impressed with it.
Not in Calgary, so it's kinda garbage. Gets four stars for not being in Edmonton.
I love this place. Great place to forget about your problems in your life.
