Taxi driver ripped me off paid on debit machine said it didn’t go through, then gave me another debit machine like a dummy I didn’t ask for the receipt proving the payment did not go through and double payed. Then called dispatch to point this out and basically told me I have to call the cab driver and sort it out. I don’t care about the money just the principal of employing dishonest con men and not taking accountability for their drivers actions is deplorable. I’ll make sure everyone knows not to use this taxi service.

It was 5 minute drive where I was going. The child driver didn’t understand how long of a day I had or I probably would have walked with the 75 pound nap sack I had on my back. Anyways he takes off in the vehicle before me even having the door shut or having my seat belt on, he then refuses to use the meter and more then likely over charged me. I asked him to bring me to the front and it was more convenient FOR HIM to drop me off at the back. As I grabbed all my stuff I wanted to do a quick check incase I had forgotten anything or something fell out of my pockets. He proceeded by telling me to hurry up. I will be calling management first thing tomorrow morning.
Card machine wasn't working to pay, I sent an etransfer to the driver as he suggested. He then called .e 8 times in total throughout the night telling me to send it to his personal email rather, after I had sent it.
Charges extra for a van when there are 4 passengers, while not allowing people to sit up front because of Covid.
This cab is a joke. Took 30 minutes and 2 calls to get someone at 1am. Driver couldn't even keep it inbetween the lines and drove 10km under the speed limit the entire time. Was not a pleasant ride either, constantly slamming his brakes for no reason. Maybe he thought we were drunk enough not to realize all these things but he also kept the meter running while we were parked in front of the house. Just avoid at all costs.
Drivers dont know where they were going even though I told him many times where I was going. They dont used map instead they let their customer to use the map for them. I don’t recommend this taxi service company and I wont use this anymore.

I have tried to give United Cabs an honest attempt by using their service three times but they are consistently rude and unprofessional. I will never use them again and will recommend people go elsewhere. Train your drivers to have a shred of politeness. It would go far.
