Went in this morning as the plastic dispenser of a product I bought had broken, likely due to my own fault. I asked if I could buy a new dispenser. The manager gave me a new dispenser for free. When I was paying for a purchase shortly afterwards I thanked him for the great service. He gave me a 20% discount on the single item I was buying. This was both a surprise and not a surprise at all. I have gone in for a handful of bulk bolts and been given a spontaneous discount. I have gone in seeking obscure products that no one stocks anymore and the staff have gone out of their way to look up competitors who carry them and provide me with phone numbers and directions. Has every visit been perfect? No, but the staff is clearly oriented to respecting customers no matter how little they spend.

Went to Rona in Fort Erie this morning for drywall with my utility trailer, had to drive to the back to number 1 shed to retrieve three sheets of drywall. On the way in or on the way out as it is all gravel the trailers right side tire picked up a patch of staples and flattened the tire, one hour later went back with the flat tire to show them as they might compensate it,and was told that the staples where theirs, but they said to bad sign says drive in at own risk,well next time they will have to bring my purchase to the front parking lot if I make purchases there,not going to take any more risks as they do not take responsibility for cleaning up staples and nails or paying to fix the tire. We may have to go to Home depot, or lowes 20 minutes away may be worth the drive. At least they have paved parking lots and indoor shopping, I am sure this has happed to many more people and were told the same thing,and not even an apology from them, well your loss Rona,as if they would even care about write ups like this, your loss Rona Fort Erie!!!!
Helped me get what I needed for my home renovations not to mention made some great recommendations which made the finished project (kitchen) look amazing.
