This morning i woke up and half drunkenly stumbled in to Food Basics and got everything i needed for a hangover cocktail. Pant leg rolled up, hoodie on backwards, i was in rough shape. The line moved quickly and nobody noticed me making sandwiches and eating them. Great sandwich meat selection here. Cheese too. You guys should sell beer so can spend the whole welfare cheque in one shot instead of having to walk so much.

Good prices. Friendly staff. During Covid they need to slow down checkout. I feel rushed at times and I am very uncomfortable when another customer is packing groceries too close to me. I will now ask staff members to wait. The aisles are marked with arrows but people do what they want. Was checked out by a staff member who wore their mask with nose uncovered. Customers are doing the same. Better line up procedure is needed as well, since people need to but in front of others to get things from coolers. Having said this, I realize it is hard for staff to enforce rules but more space is needed.
