VERY POOR WARRANTY EXPERIENCE!! Hired Fog Out to replace 30 windows back in 2018. just over a year later, my Living-room Bay window cracked from end to end. Called Fog Out to inquire about warranty replacement. They sent a tech out to look and told me it was a pressure crack and was not covered under warranty. They instead, sent me a quote to replace the window...again. Insulted and upset, I called Chinook Glass to help with the window and it was determined very quickly that the pressure crack was caused by faulty installation by Fog Out technicians. They installed the window tight to the wood on all sides without the use of any spacers to allow for temp changes/minor shifting. (see pic) I contacted Fog Out (Rob) and explained the findings and provided pics. He chose not to follow through and did not respond to my request to help cover a portion of the expense due to the faulty installation. I would not recommend this company. Pricing may be better than the others, but forget about support after the fact. You get what you pay for!!
Took a while to get on track with communication, however, the end result was amazing. Between a clumsy dog and hail damage, a large pane basement window not only cracked, but broke into several pieces which made it quite cool downstairs. I was more than happy with the end result, you would never know the glass had been replaced- other than it looks much better than the other windows! Great value for your money. Would definitely use again, and highly recommend... Barbara-Ruth
Used Fog Out to replace a broken window in our kitchen. It was a great experience. Took a couple weeks for them to order the replacement but they installed it in about 10 minutes and charged 250 (all other quotes were around 400-450). They were nice and friendly and professional.
