What can we say about Erin and her team of talented, lovely, brilliant associates and assistants? My team and I have had the pleasure of working with Vancouver wedding planners Filosophi on numerous weddings over the years. Time and time again, we’ve been blown away by the creativity of each celebration, the relaxed vibes of our couples (no doubt thanks to all the heavy lifting Erin and her team put into each event), and the comfort in knowing every vendor is acknowledged and taken care of. We always feel fully supported when going into each Filosophi wedding: from having a detailed, intuitive schedule to the trust Erin and her team has in us to provide our services (photography and cinema) to our couples. You want Erin and her team in your corner when it comes to all this wedding planning business: highly capable and organized humans who genuinely care.

My wife and I are wedding photographers and have worked with Filosophi on heaps of weddings over the years. First and foremost they have their hit together! Organized, creative, passionate and attentive. We know from working with them behind the scenes that they have the training, knowledge and skill set to execute the hell out of a wedding. It's no surprise they pick up an award or two every year at the BC Wedding Awards Gala for planning and designing the best weddings. We've worked with Erin, Shirley, Margaux, Rebecca and Kira personally and could not recommend them more. I am a wedding photographer and a very particular person, and Filosophi (specifically Shirley, our lead planner) was absolutely incredible. Coordinating a wedding is a tough job and Shirley made sure everything went smoothly without a hitch. She answered my many questions, met with me several times, was in constant communication about every detail, was well experienced with vendors and the events of the day, and had a great eye for detail. My mom was particularly impressed with how everything they set up was packed perfectly back where it was found. My husband and I had an amazing and fun day because we didn't have to worry about anything; it was all taken care of! If we were to do it again we would hire them every time!

It's always such a pleasure working with any of the Filosophi ladies, but today I want to gush about Shirley! She is just simply the most wonderful human! I've gotten to know Shirley both through work, and as a friend, and if you haven't yet met Shirley, well boy are you in for a treat. She brings joy to everyone she meets, everywhere she goes.
