It’s an okay course. We played the west and the east. It’s quite a flat course so very walkable. Most holes are wide open so if you leak your drive then you can still recover. Greens and bunkers were well maintained. Pace was good, we finished in 3.5 hours on a Tuesday.

Good course for a beginner. Wide open fairways on east and west nines. More narrow on the south. With a lot of beginners, it's slow moving and the holes are right beside each other with little protection. Not much food and drink choices and carts are getting old. Ours kept dying on us.
Hard to believe people pay to play hear. If you like playing golf in a farmers field and sweety old men then maybe play hear but I still think there has to be a better option. Location: abandoned farmers field Parking: gravel/dirt Pro shop: run down shack Golf carts: probably not available so you have to walk Staff: lazy old white guys Course: flat with little to no trees or water
UPDATE: Unbelievably, for the second visit in a row, range closed, due to lawn cutting. It was cut. Went to Elmira GC, gorgeous, friendly. Decent enough course. Employees nice. Driving range is absurd. Odds are they wont have balls. Their collector has no protection, so if someone is driving, no collection. Business going out of town.
I do not take golf too seriously. First timer at fergus. Course in decent condition enjoyed the hole variety. Not much on the way of food being offered when we finished at 3:00 3_1/2 stars
