Don't go here if you own an older bike. I booked a safety for my new to me 1993 Goldwing 1500 Aspencade, figuring some work will be needed. At the time of booking I indicated the year make and model. After the bike tech checked and test rode he comes out to tell me a list of items that need doing. However, they don't work on Goldwings as old as mine. If they had only told me this when I booked the appointment, I would have saved 2 hours of my time and 125.00. Ripped off? I believe so! I have two bikes presently both older but plan on buying a new or late model touring bike in the near future. You can bet I won't be going to either Clare's for any purchases or service. Update: Thank you for your response. My dissatisfaction with your company's service is not your policy of not servicing bikes older than a certain age or your technician. My issue is that at no time before the technician looked at my bike was I informed of your policy. If it had been brought to my attention, I would have had the option of taking the bike elsewhere (like a shop that would at least offer to repair). Now I am out money and time, and still have to take it elsewhere to get the problems resolved and pay for another safety. I hope your service department knows your policy and should be instructed to disclose this information when a customer books an appointment for service of any kind outside the scope of your target model years.

What a great experience. They have customer service down pat. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. You can tell they are passionate about motor sports. Prices on gear and helmets are very competitive. Definitely my go to for parts and service for my Yamaha.

Great service, knowledgeable staff and honest pricing. I had taken a wrong bolt out that drained the brake fluid on my new bike (trying to attach an accessory), and was left without rear brakes. The service manager took charge and was back riding in no time. Thank you ! UPDATE: I purchased a new motorcycle from Clare's, from salesperson Mike Risi, and the experience was fantastic: no pressure of any kind, answered all my questions, and was clearly looking for me to purchase the RIGHT motorcycle for me.
