Odd and Oddities

I always have a positive experience at Exotic Wings. The owners are so nice, and always go out of their way to help out. And now during the pandemic, they still maintain that high standard of care. Their prices are fair, and they always go the extra mile. I'd recommend them 100%.

*Update in response to comment* I am absolutely disgusted by this business. My beautiful companion died because there is no disease prevention in this establishment. Barred cages; not glass. Second-home birds allowed in with birds for sale without veterinary evaluation. The complete prick of an owner Mark became angry when I asked about the health of my bird and veterinary procedures. Jude didn't live to be one year old. Don't support this business. These birds do not deserve to suffer as a result of a negligent breeder. EDIT -- In response to owner's comment: 1. Sure, Dr. Tucker might check up on the birds but does each bird have a thorough examination equivalent to to veterinary visit? I doubt that you care enough about the birds to pay for that. 2. I don't disagree with your statement about glass cages but do you have no concern for communicable diseases? They are so easily spread. In that bird room you keep, the birds are extremely susceptible to illness. Especially because of the second chance birds. Don't get me wrong, taking in birds is wonderful but the way by which you do it is not safe. 3. The birds are not cleaned. I visited my bird a couple of weeks before she came home and her nostrils were covered in bird excrement. I thought at first that she has some sort of infection (it looked like cracked and darkened skin) and brought attention to it. I was ignored OF COURSE. I ended up cleaning her little face with a damp paper towel in the sink. I spent enough time visiting my bird in your store to know that a lot of neglect occurs. You are so VERY clearly in the bird breeding business for the money. Also, thank you so much for making me feel like a bullied child in your presence, Mark.

Be careful what you are buying. I didn’t look on the band until I got home I was told it was a 2020 bird when I looked on the band it was a 2015

Got a couple of cage budgies from here. Also bought everything they could need. Everything was in stock. My only regret is that I didn't know about this place before the pandemic. Looking forward to a post-pandemic world where we can visit the store without restrictions. Support your local small business so we can all enjoy such businesses in the future!
