Walter was great at quoting. Staff who did the job were really friendly. Kept it as clean as possible. No complaints.

Tropical did a large job on an agriculture building over 9 years ago. I had issues at the time with the job offered as the number of bags needed to perform the job according to the manufactures recommendations. They only filled the truck up with the amount that the truck could hold and called it good enough - likely about 25% short of needed bags. Time has passed and the job turned out to be very shy of the material needed and am currently looking for a company to top up and re-insulate because I got a terrible service. My moving forward will not include working with this company.

Tropical Insulation did the attic insulation for my house in December, 2019, I waited for 2 months before writing this review so I can provide accurate feedback about the service. I'm happy to say that I'm very satisfied in dealing with our sales rep Walter, manager Mark, office admin Adrienne and lead technician Gino for all the technical inquiries I made regarding material standard, work process and eligibility for Enbridge rebate. Most importantly, the heating comfort of my house has definitely improved afterwards. There are many sub-standard insulation contractors in the market who don't provide detailed specifications in their quotes. Walter impressed me as technically proficient, patient and trustworthy. Their price is also reasonable. As added confidence to me as customer, I discovered that they actually were the original attic insulation manufacturer and contractor of my house when it was built! I highly recommend this company.

Had a quote from Gary which was similarly priced to other jobs. Gary followed up several times with me asking if I was still interested, I said I was. Finally, when I was ready to do the job I contacted him and asked about my vaulted ceiling. I was promptly replied with 'the angle may not allow the cellulose to stay and it can roll down'--we are cancelling the job. Had I not specially asked about it, perhaps the job would have been attempted...? It was explained he overlooked this previously (interestingly it was never brought up through multiple interactions) and I had asked in person and was assured the vaulted ceiling is fine. I guess since it was in email it could have been problematic. Note, I know I'm not the only homeowner with a house that has vaulted ceilings in one bedroom. Not impressed with this bogus reasoning...onto the next. Serious trustworthy concerns.
