Hard to believe you can get the \up north\ canoeing experience in the middle of the city. Best of all is that this location is a mere 5 minute walk away from the Old Mill subway station. Take the stairs off Bloor Street and the location is nearly at the bottom. Make sure you check out the historic plaque remembering Hurricane Hazel, that swept through Toronto killing 81 people. Then, admire the dramatic First Nations art murals under the bridge. Staff was friendly here. It's a super safe experience on a very calm river. Highly recommended!

Thank you Toronto Adventures: Humber River Paddling Centre for a great experience along the Humber River. We rented a canoe and enjoyed the beautiful scenery, foliage, wild life, and more! Easily accessible by bike, car, TTC. Super friendly staff. A must do when in Canada and Toronto. Thank you again.

It's easy to booking a rental online. I've also called in and both Gabby and Heather were very helpful. They're efficient about providing credit if the weather is bad to book for another time slot. Parking can get packed, the process to sign a waiver and check in was fairly quick. We recieved instructions on what the boundaries are and what to check out on the river. The staff onsite were helpful with answering questions and helping us get on and off the canoes. The river itself is a great spot to canoe or kayak down. There's ample space, not very crowded. The water is calm, not many boats or jetskis go down the river and if they do they are not speeding. You'll see many birds: ducks, swans, geese, cormorants! The marshes are nice to check out, however they can be very shallow. I would definitely come back here to canoe again!

It was a super fun 2 hours of Kayaking on the Humber river. The water was calm and the scenery was beautiful. We saw egrets, herons, swans and even a deer on our way. Lots of families having a nice outing on the water. Such beauty and serenity right in our city! Booking was easy, everything done on line. When we arrived, they were organized. The young guys worked hard and fast to help everyone launch their boats and get back on land. Highly recommended!
