This should be a zero star review. After filing a complaint with a full explanation, I get a 3 minute phone call with a representative whom obviously didn't read anything I submitted. Reco representative Veronica Menezes clearly doesn't care about individuals and only cares about protecting Realtors. Emails unanswered, individuals she's supposed to be representing treated as a simple numbers not worthy of her attention. They should be named Real Estate Co-accomplices of Ontario.

Today Friday Febuary 19th, 2021 the male customer service representative just hung up on me intentionally! These people are 5 stars at taking your cheque, credit card or any other form of payment but after that well youll be on hold for about 30 mins and if you dont address the service representative with your heiness you will get hung up on! Goverment needs to intervene, this is criminal.

RECO is no friend of the consumer - they will interpret situations to the benefit of the Realtor more times than not. They will not reveal all transgressions of Agents if if specifically asked. They are not an ethical organization.

By not holding real estate agents to any standards and only giving minor consequences to the most unethical behaviour RECO has created a free for all. The worst is that they pretend this is something they stand for but they do not care about the clients who have gotten the brunt of these shady agents. RECO hides behind bureaucratic process to prevent buyers and sellers from any fairness when dealing with these agents. This is a shame because our real estate markets could really use an avenue of accountability.

I sold my home during covid. I watch \FAMILIES\ walk through. Had damage to my property and ended up arguing with my own agents as they stated I didn't have enough cause to terminate my listing. I asked them to be present during every showing to make sure that people followed proper educate (they out right refused, I had to escalate to there broker). I hired an agent to sale my home for an optimal price and at the same time keep the agent should follow health standard practices.. I found that agents have there own rules they follow / make up and have enough nerve to lie to your face.
