Just this past weekend on Saturday March 6th around 10:30am my wife lost her grandmother – she was 103 years old. She passed away peacefully at her sisters home when we got the phone call. Our families gathered and we spent the day together crying and remembering her life. We took steps to notify the required authorities and begin Funeral arrangements. My uncle suggested a new Funeral home he had heard of in Toronto called Lotus Funeral home. I googled and found the details and contacted them. Four of us went to meet with the manager at the funeral home. Upon arrival we had to use hand sanitizer and have face masks on at all times and in the meeting room we had to be spread out apart from each other. They were very supportive of our loss and took the time to explain to us our choices. Helped us choose a casket and even the flowers. We picked a date and time for the funeral which was today from 8am to 10pm. They explained to us that only 10 people were allowed into the building at a time for a very limited amount of time then after those 10 people left the building then they would need time to clean the viewing room and once cleaned then another group of ten people could go in to pay their respects. This process would go on for the duration of the two hours. Each group member had to be identified before being allowed to enter from a group list given in advance with allotted times. I was simply amazed at how professional and caring the manager and staff were with us. Covid-19 lock down restrictions has made this a bitter sweet memory for my family but the management and staff were EXCELLENT throughout the entire process !! Thank you so much Lotus Funeral Home!

This funeral home will definitely take care of you perfectly and will help you through the difficult time. I cannot stress enough on how professional and kind that they are. The staff members are so perfect and are so honest. They will take all the time you need and are so patient with the whole process. If you want the best this is the place to go. On top of that the place is beautiful. The staff I was speaking to the most specifically is Patrica Peter who honestly made the whole process easy and helped me so much which made me and my family comfortable. Ben and Harminder are also professional and very kind. I’m honestly so happy and will definitely recommend this funeral home.
