I like the convenience of it right by Islington subway. Went there 3 times now. Booked the appointment through their website as you first need to create an account with all the security questions answered is a little complicated but do-able. Do not bother calling the lab as it is a central line and all it always says it is busy. Try calling again.... never any real person picks up a call. The lab itself is nice. The technicians are courteous and professional.
What's the purpose of scheduling appointment if you have to wait forever anyway. Receptionist is not friendly either.
Unprofessional and rude! I booked an appointment for blood work online and arrived for my appointment. Upon arrival, we (My fiance and I) were told to wait in the waiting room only to be told again to wait outside, then told again to wait in the waiting area then again to stay 6 feet apart although we live together and have been for a year. At some point a nurse finally came over and asked me to check into one of the rooms. My fiance politely asked if she could accompany me since I have extreme anxiety when seeing needles and blood (due to a previous car accident and being mishandled by a nurse while in coma at an early age). The front reception did not even let my fiance explain the situation and denied our request then looked at the nurse and said \I get anxiety when I do my job too...\ in a very condescending tone! My fiance and I not only found this to be extremely rude and unprofessional but also unacceptable that someone with special needs was denied the care or attention that was needed in a medical facility specially in this day and age. Ask any person in the medical field about anxiety disorder and they can tell you how serious the conditions are. It is very clear that the person is unsatisfied with their job and clearly unaware and unwilling to perform their duties as a medical field professional and we are taking steps to complain to the board in hopes to have this corrected so no one else with the same condition would ever have to go through what I had to go through. It is a shame that certain people without foundational skill set for a position in medical field occupy these positions in our society today!
