Thank you so much for the quick service!! In the middle of Covid restrictions they took us in without a previous appointment since we are out of province!! Both representatives were very helpful and professional!!

Thanks for your service. Excellent in responding to my email as well in person service. It's less busy around noon as most people have been already served. Just keep in mind the business hours ( open until 1 and closed on Wednesday).

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Worst possible service ever, as they don't provide service. I have been trying to reach the Consulate for a few months now, as my mother in law is Cuban and has been stuck here in Canada due to COVID. I need some information, particularly about Cuban national returns, that is not posted on the Cuban Ministry's website, in either Spanish or English. I am also getting conflicting information from Cuba itself (yes, I have had to call there, and send people looking for answers), when I should be able to get an answer from the Consulate right here in Toronto. This consulate doesn't ever answer the phone (with super limited hours), and seem to have recently pulled their number from online, and sadly, they don't respond to repeated emails. I am not surprised quite frankly, having been to Cuba numerous times - where they also have really horrible, non-existent service in most places, especially government agencies. I am not sure that the people who work at the Consulate in Toronto get paid for, as they clearly don't answer the phone, or emails, which I would assume are major parts of their job now during COVID with no face to face contact. It's safe to surmise they are not doing their jobs, one of which, is to provide necessary information to Cuban nationals. Sad.

Usually very fast when processing documents. Just took 4 years to get a cancellation notification to get back my right for citizenship, as they call it. I believe they are very sure I am not Cuban anymore and my birth right was denied when I decided to move to Canada. Got a very rude lady on the phone after writing and requesting from consulate in Toronto why this was taking so long. She does not have an answer as why my request was cancelled but sure enough they are certain I can start this process once again and pay 40 CAD more to start all over again and for them to keep on playing with my money. I already pay more than 300 CAD to get a passport every 6 years and 160 CAD every two years to renew the same passport I already paid for more than 300 CAD. Oh well! Lucky me, as I was born in Cuba and cannot use a Canadian passport if I wanted to go back to see the rest of my family there. This is very nice. So tired of all this. They know I need to go and visit my family and help them out however I can so sure enough I will go back to them for all those documents so desired and extremely expensive. Thank you so much Cuban Consulate! Have a great day and keep on doing the poor job you do every day!
