We have bought a number of pieces of furniture from EHF. The service is very good. Their recommendations and suggestions have been great. They have always worked with us to make sure we have gotten the right color/fabric for our purchase. They are located centrally in Essex county and their show room is a good size. It has plenty of variety, options and displays. They offer a ton of different options beyond what is on the floor. They have good sales and the prices are competitive. Stop in and visit the store to see what they have.
We made 2 separate purchases here over the past 5 years. After attending all the other furniture stores in the area we stopped in and found exactly what we were looking for and it was on sale! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and work hard to call you by name. The products are quality and many are Canadian made. Ask for Renée.
This store doesn’t know how to treat customers with respect. On their website it says closes at 8pm on Saturday. On the paper that is attached to the main door also says closes at 8pm Sat. When we knocked to enter, they said sorry store closed. Store postings times are inaccurate. We travelled 1 hour to this store to see furniture. But, weren’t expecting poor customer service and time management skills. Anyone out of town don’t waste your time travelling here.
Very expensive and poor return policy. My husband and I purchased a coffee table here for over 600. Upon arriving home realized that it didn't suit our needs. It was our mistake, but Essex Home Furnishings absolutely and without question refused to help us out. They would not accept a return under any circumstances because it was a floor model. We didn't get a discount because it was the floor model either - we paid full price. I would not shop here again and I will be warning all of my friends and family to avoid it as well.
