Away from city lights, tucked away in a cozy county is this dark sky reserve flocked by astronomy enthusiasts from near and far. Sky is dark, as promised, gives you enough opportunities for star gazing and planet watching, or for those long exposure milky way shots. I wish they put up etiquette signage so that casual visitors know to switch off their car headlamps so not to ruin others photos

Well laid out pad with many spots marked out on which to set up your telescope. Ample parking. Not too far out into the country. Can get busy, so plan your viewing accordingly. Excellent for early morning observing.

Great spot for stargazing. I’ve only visited one other Dark Sky Preserve—the other one being Torrance Barrens—but, I prefer this one much more. I was able to see the Milky Way and was here for the Perseids Meteor shower. There’s plenty of parking space and not too many mosquitoes!

Although a longer drive from Toronto, it's one of the amazing dark sky viewing area. Has no light or air pollution. Great for viewing the milky way galaxy. Has too many bugs and insects in summer. Make sure to carry bug spray and other coverings.

I will give it props for having a great view. The first time ever going. Figured near midnight on a Monday, it would be good to bring the camera. However too many people, and their lights going on and off. Couldn't see my equipment to get any shots. To top it off the parking lot filled with drunk tourists that were standing end to end blocking vehicles. Drive a while to get there and was utterly disappointed. If you want a quiet peaceful look at the night sky, better off in your own yard.
