hi, I wanted to leave a review for Silicon Valley Computers. I am a developer in software and recently my customer, a company in the recycling of plastics business decided to change to Silicon Valley Computer. Jim, the owner was very gracious and did the job to cut us over cleanly. They got the image of the server that we were on, they up0loaded and downloaded to their site; they purchased and built our new server from scratch; and installed it at our site; Nothing went wrong; first time I see that; The site already had some issues with Internet being weak and having to use microwave technology to send and receive to the network; What we were so happy about as well was that Jim knew how to do it the first time; I was impressed. Some of the problems we had had went back 8 years and were never resolved. Jim and his staff resolved them. Terrific job people! cudos to you! Jim came to our site the day of cutover to make sure all was perfect; He gave great service and whenever I see service like that , I want to spread the word. Thank you Jim, and Stephane and Chris...merci infiniment.

Honestly, I have been coming to these guys for a few years now! When you walk in to getting your final product. I had a problem with my hard drive, they diagnosed the issue quickly and got it back in my hands in a timely manner. I was expecting my repairs to be expensive but I was shocked how reasonable they were. The last time I was here I tried to install my own cpu .. I failed and Chris stayed an hour past close to help me out and get my sons pc working. Thanks over and over again!

Ok so I'm all for shopping local especially in the current environment. So I took my laptop to a local IT service provider here in Russell Silicone Valley Computers. They said they would install a new SSD (solid state hard drive) as well as update to windows10. I dropped it off on Friday and said I needed it no later than Monday morning. I received a call on Saturday stating that it would be ready by the end of the day. I never received a call on Saturday or on Sunday even after I left several messages. I then got no call this morning, I resorted to trying to work off my phone and an old laptop which was slower than the one I dropped off (if that is even possible). I called them 8 times today and left 6 messages and never got a call back. I finally showed up at the store at 4:30 and knocked on the door, the owner Jim ran into the back of the store, one of his employees greeted me. I explained who I was and he said oh yes your laptop is almost ready, I said and why did nobody respond to any of my messages today, he had no answer. I said when will it be ready he said it should be ready shortly. I finally called back at 6pm and he said it is almost done. I finally picked it up at 6pm tonight. I had a conversation with the owner who only provided excuses on why I wasn't called back after leaving 6 messages. Not one acceptable answer. All I can say is customer service is number one for any business owner and if you can't even provide that then maybe you are in the wrong career. I will never be back there again and I will make sure anyone who asks me to recommend someone it will not be them.

Friendly but failed to call me back to pick up an item they told me they had it stock. Has to rush over to The Source in Casselman to pick up a power cable.
