DIRECTIONS - Drive west past Elmworth until the pavement ends; turn left on Range Road 121. Travel until you reach the T and turn right on TWP 700 and follow (Turns into Monkman pass road) until you hit the BC border and immediately turn right on oilfield road (Cenovus Leases, see picture of turn off) and follow /-7km until you reach a gate and parking off to the left. Follow the trails, it is 1.5km in. Then you can do the steep cliff with ropes tied to trees or the longer gradual decline ATV road which winds down to the river. Once on the river, the falls is down to the right from the steep cliffs entrance and down to the left from the ATV entrance. Enjoy and please pack all your garbage back out with you.

I'm a big hiker I like big insane hikes but when you're going with family and friends with children it's absolutely wonderful. Lots of tree cover for shade. Added bonus the rocks are not slippery at at all so you can walk around in the water with no problem. You can also fish there just make sure you know the rules on catch and release

Beautiful beautiful area. Shallow and deep spots. Great place to spend a day when it's hot. Wish people would pick up their garbage!

I adore the expedition to Red Willow Falls. Be sure to know your bear awareness & go with someone who's been out there before. There is quite the descent down & we just tied some new ropes today. You may be able to swim depending on the water levels. There is no service at the falls so make sure you tell someone where you are going & wear appropriate footwear for soggy terrain. Highly recommend checking out this gem!

Make sure you bring good walking shoes!! Beautiful hike but very very steep at some points. Beautiful swimming area and diving at the falls.

Awesome spot to chill in the crystal clear warm water! Bring bug spray for the almost 1km hike in to the falls.

A pleasant family afternoon. The climb down the rather steep embankment is not for everyone.
