The staff at SOS Elmira are incredible! They are extremely knowledgeable & I received tremendous service from the moment I stepped into the clinic. During my appointment Ryan & Melissa went above & beyond to ensure I was getting the best treatment possible. These two really care about their patients & I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. I’m feeling great again & that’s all because of their exceptional work. I highly recommend checking out SOS Elmira for all of your physiotherapy needs!

SOS Physiotherapy in Elmira is wonderful. I saw Melissa a few years back for a running injury. The treatment and care plan was amazing. That’s what made SOS Elmira my first choice for care after a recent motor vehicle collision. I knew I would get the best care from Melissa and have a top notch experience at their facility. The Covid protocols are second to none and I always feel safe and know the clinic has been sanitized for my safety. They also have the latest equipment and technology to help heal the injury and regain mobility. Definitely recommend!!
Melissa is a highly skilled, knowledgeable practitioner who takes the time and care to truly understand the needs and goals of her clients. She has an impressive understanding of human physiology and will work with you to develop a complete plan to increase your overall wellness and rehabilitate from nagging injuries. Most importantly, she is easy going and incredibly personable. She rocks! (But she's not made of stone!)
I went to SOS for a sports related wrist injury. The reception staff were knowledgeable and accommodating to my schedule. Melissa goes above and beyond to help figure out what is going on and explains things thoroughly. A great positive atmosphere I highly recommend SOS if you are looking for results!
Melissa Norris at SOS Physiotherapy in Elmira is wonderful! I had taken a tumble 2 days before the March 2020 lockdown, and it was my first (and hopefully last!) experience with a traumatic injury! I had emergency surgery and some minor complications, but when it came time for physio, it was not available through the hospital because of the shutdown. I was referred to Melissa via a coworker, and I am so thankful that she was doing virtual visits! I will admit I was a little skeptical at first at the efficacy of a virtual physio visit - but I knew I was in good hands after our first meeting. Melissa was the first person to actually explain my injury to me, so I could understand exactly what I had managed to do...using models and everything. I really appreciated that! She managed to do a full assessment and gave me appropriate exercises to do to help with my healing. Most importantly, she was always available to answer any questions I had and was a very important touchpoint for me in the first few weeks (months!) of the lockdown because I couldn't go anywhere and I was pretty isolated! She also celebrated my small victories with me (PONYTAIL!). When restrictions had finally lifted in June, the timing was perfect to start actual manipulations and I gladly drove on out to Elmira weekly. Melissa continued to explain the benefits everything she was doing, and she employed many techniques that really helped me regain the use of my arm! I'm actually a little sad that I have recovered and no longer have to regularly visit Melissa and the team at SOS Physiotherapy in Elmira!
