One of the hidden gems in Montreal, I enjoyed today and my family high quality Egyptian food. The food was so delicious and hot. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone wants to try authentic Egyptian cuisine.

We run into this restaurant by accident, and it turned out to be an amazing experience with our first Egyptian meal! We particularly enjoyed the Egyptian pizza and warm sugar dessert ! Fast service. Will be back!
Great authentic egyptian food ,tasty and delicious specially the mixed meat fateer and koshary ,friendly stuff, highly recomended really worth the visit
This spot is my favorite. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The crew is very receptive and the food they serve is so flavorful. I would always prefer to have a good meal here. I highly recommend this place.
Very nice service and delicious food. Menu is a little bit limited and restricting if you are vegetarian (would not recommend this place for those who do not eat meat!). More of a fast food vibe than a sit down family restaurant but we had a good time nonetheless. Keep in mind they do not serve water in jugs or glasses but rather in individual bottles (more profitable) and they are 100% halal, an advantage to many of my Muslim friends but that also means they do not serve alcohol.

It is no longer called El Dawar. It is now called Babylonia and they now serve very good food and the desserts are amazing (should try) It is still middle eastern food THEY HAVE SHISHA!! For a cheap price too
Wow wow wow I have never eaten Egyptian food before. This place is great! The staff is help and pleasant in helping you choose what to order with delicious suggestions both for your main dish and dessert. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant and bringing more friends. This is a must try place in my books.
