Amazing service. We regularly have our pianos tuned with Chris as required in a musician and music teacher household. He is meticulous and careful, not only as a piano technician but as required offering a home service during pandemic times. He offered an excellent added service in finding us an upright piano that was perfect for us. Saved us money and the hassle with having a pro do all the leg work. Personal, kind and just lovely to deal with. Highly recommend!

Our family was happy to get our Yamaha piano tuned up before our daughter's grade 10 RCM exam. The piano was moved to our house almost two years ago, and definitely needed some work. Chris did terrific job, and now every key sounds like it should! Some hammers had to be taken additional care of, so they do not double hit. Booking appointment on the website was straightforward, and we quickly got confirmation of the date, and later a reminder. It was nice to meet Chris, a highly qualified professional, and to watch him doing his magic!
Eight Eight Pianos does a wonderful job of tuning my piano. Chris will explain what he is doing and why and then he'll play a little bit to see how it all sounds. It's pretty sweet. His work is professional and he is so personable, really a joy to spend time with. Now if only I could play my piano to the high standard it's tuned...
My piano tuning with Eight Eight Pianos was a wonderful Christmas gift I received. Chris did an amazing job tuning my Kawai, which had only been tuned twice in 17 years. The piano sounds better than I could have ever imagined and I now look forward to sitting down to play several times a week. Chris did not rush and took his time to make sure everything sounded just right. He even followed up with me a few weeks later to see how everything sounded. I would highly recommend Chris and am planning on having him return every year now to keep my piano sounding great!
I have two pianos with very different needs. Chris has been looking after them for a few years and I couldn't be happier with the service. He does a great job with the tuning and, and a piano teacher I'm glad to have learned a lot from him about how the instrument works. I'm so grateful for a repair he made on my 100 year old antique which is a precious family heirloom. A genuine and warm human, as well as an incredible musician who is so dedicated to his craft. I loved being able to book using the app - very convenient and prompt. I thoroughly recommend Eight Eight Pianos.
