Union Hall YEG - great concert venue in Edmonton I had the opportunity to meet some really neat, fun and colourful kids over the past 3 years shooting concerts and events in Edmonton and Calgary These fun images are of a cute gal named Loki - from a concert I had the pleasure to photograph in 2019 at Union Hall - #Edmonton @unionhalledm . #yeg #yeglocal #yeggers #780 #edm #edmonton #yegartist #peace #supportlocalyeg #yegedm #yegconcerts #yegmusic #sherwoodpark #yegdj #yegphotography #yegevents #yeglife #yegvenue #edmontonliving #cute #yegconcert #yegbiz #yyc #edmontonphotographer #yegphotographer #yegbusiness #yegbossbabes #canonphotography #canonphoto @canoncanada Venue: @unionhalledm DJ: @lektrique D.J: @lumberjack

What a stellar and rad venue. From the tube heaters outside to help the lineup stay warm, to the friendly but thorough security, to the multiple bars and excellent stage, I was not dissapointed. Excellent view from anywhere in the venue, and an upper balcony. 5 star.

Cool venue, can get pretty close to the stage but gets pretty packed as well. Drink prices magically go up as well once it gets busier and closer to the main act going up. But overall a good spot!

Lived in Edmonton since 2003. This place has survived since then by bringing in live acts that run the spectrum of music and comedy. It's also quite small so you can get right up to your favorite band or chill in the back by the sound booth and get into the mix with the sound tech. Yeah the location is industrial, and the beer is more expensive than you want it to be, and sometimes the crowd can be entitled, but more often than not it's going to give you a solid, good sounding, good looking small venue experience. It's one of the last active live music venues in town.

so much for "no fraternizing between tables" during a pandemic you would think because edmonton is one of the few places on earth rn that can still have events, people would be more grateful for being able to go to these things but instead my friend got roofied by some girl who was running around the venue the entire night not respecting social distancing. used to love this place but now it's overrun with degenerates. will never come back.

Great live venue to check out bands and artists. Used to be a great rock bar but then it went to top 40 club tunes. Definitely prefer the rock bar setting. There also was that time they held a guitar hero competition. That was pretty cool too. Top 10 venue in Edmonton for sure. BRING BACK THE ROCK!!!

Cool, unusual venue for an art show! Wasn't a fan of the live music, but I can see a small punk band doing a small set there!
