I went to stoneware optometry on February 23, 2021. The staff was very polite and professional. Dr. Sobolewski was very knowledgeable and calming. He really explained what was going on with my eyes. It had been 5 years since my last appointment at a different eye clinic. Turns out my prescription was wrong the entire time. I'll definitely go to Stonewire again.

I really like Dr. Holtz. I've had glasses since I was 9 years old, and I've seen a few different optometrists. Dr. Holtz is not only a great optometrist, but also a great healthcare worker. He takes time to explain things to you, and is caring and informative. I usually don't like going to the optometrist (it sucks feeling like you can't read the letters!), but I'm comfortable going to Stonewire. At my latest visit, I mentioned I was planning to purchase my next set of glasses online and the staff were very helpful. I didn't feel judged or scorned upon for this decision. If anything, they took extra care to explain what each part of my prescription meant. When I moved to Edmonton, I chose Stonewire solely because it was conveniently located near my work. However, I'm happy with the care I've received and don't plan to change offices any time soon!

I'm 43 and have been putting off going for an eye exam for at least the past 12 months. Spent the day indoors on Saturday (so ridiculously cold here in Edmonton), which meant a stop into Kingsway Mall. The ladies upfront were able to accommodate a walk-in appointment for us and got us set up right away as new customers with direct billing to my out of province insurance provider. Dr. Ross is a bit of a rockstar, I appreciated his thoroughness, and the education that he provided me on the state of my old eyes. All and all it was a great experience, despite the fact I now will be wearing readers. Thanks again Dr Ross and staff, all the best on your next triathlon. David D.
