Great school I've been in this school my whole life
I know so many families who pull their children from this school and go public instead. If I could take my step sons out of this awful school I so would. I dont recommend anyone place their children in a place where one parent is chosen over the other with any situation. The amount of bullying that takes place and is allowed to continue is astounding. My step sons grade four teacher responded with \ That's not my problem or my job to discipline the other child\. My step son is now having mental health issues due to the lack of care for his well being. I know catholic mothers who have pulled their children from this school and gone public for the same reasons. Do your self a fa or.. walk away!
I went to this school for one year about fifteen years ago, it was the worst year of my schooling. The school itself was fine no complaints there but the teacher I had that year sucked the life and souls out of the students in her class, she is thankfully no longer a teacher at this school. It may be a little late to be writing this but apparently I need to let go of some anger, namely the fact that, that specific teacher stole my fellow student's and my markers at the start of the year. Announcing that we needed to earn them. None of us ever got them back. Those were expensive markers. I'm not even angry about the fact that she refused to acknowledge my learning disability needs. One which she hated with a passion being my boxing off answers so that I could mentally separate them. No it's those markers that haunt me, have haunted me throughout my education. I have carried my anger for that teacher around with me since 2002, the way only a child can. Thankfully she is no longer there, she was a horrible teacher, one of those who hated kids and didn't hide it. The school itself I loved. I only spent a year there but it was fun when I wasn't with that teacher, I don't know if they still have it but their music room was my favourite. I learned to play the xylophone there and it helped build my love of music, which I am thankful for to this day but I'm rating the teacher I had. Teachers make a difference in a child's life and the fact that I felt the need to write this after more than a decade, shows just how much. I can hope that the staff quality has improved over the years because without that teacher, that year, that hard year of repeating second grade and not being made feel stupid for it by said teacher, would have made that year so much more enjoyable and I would have given this school five stars.
My son went to this school. I loved it and they were really good with the kids.
My son goes to that school
Went here for grade 8 and 9 1989 and 1990 teachers were good students were bad most of the kids I knew smoked pot and cigarettes, drank like crazy, put chalk staples and spit in the English teachers coffee, they even destroyed every brass instrument in the music room and considering that this was the first year the school was open that was all new equipment, they even gave one social studies teacher a breakdown.
