LEARN MORE *COVID-19 INFORMATION* Participant safety and well-being are our number one concern. Here is what we are planning on doing to help keep people safe while they visit the Edmonton Ski Club: ​ Access to Facilities Limited access to the lodge to maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres using floor markings; The patio area will be set up for seating only with regard for minimum spacing requirements of 2 metres; Minimal seating will be available in the lodge, until further notice; Hand sanitizer and gloves will be made available at all entrances; Maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres between those waiting in line through the use of ground markings. ​ Cleaning Staff will follow a strict cleaning regiment and log to include wiping down all items brought into the Edmonton Ski Club, all equipment, counters, door handles, point of sale, and other items; Disinfectant spray and wipes will be place at all stations and cash registers; The washrooms will be regularly cleaned and sanitized. ​ Food and Beverage Service Food and beverages will be available for take-out and alcohol service will be available via table service on the patio, until further notice. ​ Interactions Customers are encouraged not to shake hands with staff and to please distance themselves from staff respectfully;​​ Customers are encouraged to use electronic or card-based payment methods; Signage will be posted reminding everyone to engage in good public health practices.   Programs Programs will be limited to groups of 6 participants and 2 coaches/leaders; Minimum distance of 2 metres will be maintained at all times; In the event of an emergency where physical distance cannot be maintained, all leaders will be equipped with masks, gloves and hand sanitizer; No equipment will be shared and each participant will be supplies with a water bottle; All participant participation will be tracked with sign in and sign out times.   Special Events Physical distancing of 2 metres will be maintained at all times; All entertainment will take place in a separate area from event attendees and follow current Alberta Government Regulations; No items involved with the event will be shared between participants; Event registration will be tracked through the event page on this website and through an onsite check-in/waiver, including names and contact information of all individuals; The event will be shut down immediately if maximum capacity outlined by the Alberta Government is reached. ​ We recognize that people still need to keep using the river valley, have their bikes repaired and need to keep riding for health, safety and personal well-being. Our management team will be constantly discussing our next steps as the situation continues to evolve. ​ *We will be requesting that everyone who enters the Edmonton Ski Club engage in good public health practices such as frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes with an arm, and to avoid touching one’s face.
