I wasn’t expecting much as Edmonton doesn’t have many great ramen shops but I ended up enjoying my meal. It wasn’t amazingly delicious by any means but it was good. What I didn’t like was how small the portions are for what you pay. Ramen should be cheap and slurpable soul food.

Was gonna try Coco next door as I heard good things. But Menjiro's dining room was open so I thought I would try there instead. I sat down and waited for close to 20mins and finally the waitress comes up and angrily says. \You order and PAY first before you sit down\ pointing at the front till. So I got up and walked out and had some Bubble Tea next door. There's nothing special about this restaurant and the atmosphere is aweful. I am not going to return.
Really quite tasty ramen, but portion sizes are a little bit small. Comparing the price to other ramen places in Edmonton, though, it is pretty hard to beat. The okonomiyaki was good flavor wise, but basically the consistency of takoyaki (squishy). Not necessarily a bad thing.
Taste, price and value perfectly balanced. Had lunch here with the family and portions were great considering the prices. Flavors were subtle and not overbearing. Yet tasty enough to keep wanting more. Cabbage was crisp and fresh, Pork belly was nice and tender with a good balance of meat to fat. Butter Miso was rich and creamy, All others were on par with typical ramen places. I think only comment would be a better balance of noodles and bean sprouts. Staff is also very friendly and responsive. Definitely would come again!
Ramen's not as flavorful as I've expected. I tasted a black garlic and a normal tonkotsu broth and they're quite bland for a ramen. They're quite greasy too to the point all I can taste is the oil. I got myself a chicken topping and they're decent but the eggs are really good and heck, I don't even like runny eggs. I also got myself some takoyaki and they're decent too I suppose. The noodles need some more cooking time too. All in all, the ramen I've tasted lacks quite the flavor and threy could use more seasoning but I cannot say anything about the other ramens.
