I have been attending Firefly for the past 7 years. They have many different apparatus to choose from, friendly and knowledgeable staff with an emphasis on safety. There is a performance opportunity at the end of the school year that has always been really fun to participate in. They bring in different teachers for workshops from time to time and during the summer, the classes are more varied. Open gym is a great time to work on skills you have learned. You can book a private or semi private class to work with a teacher on something different. I have always found fellow students to be encouraging and positive. I highly recommend this facility for circus instruction!

Took many classes over many years with this academy. A very inclusive and friendly place to get good quality aerial instruction, a good workout and have fun
After trying the intro to aerial arts class at Firefly out of curiosity I was almost immediately hooked, and 3 years later that hasn't changed. The instructors are kind and patient, and take the safety of everyone walking through the doors incredibly serious. The effort that is put into teaching students the proper way of doing things in a friendly and supportive environment is unmatched. I would recommend Firefly to anybody in the Edmonton area curious in trying aerial arts.
I've been a student at Firefly for many years. Firefly is dedicated to providing the safest training space available for its students. Aside from extensive rigging safety measures, conditioning is incorporated into every class ensuring students are physically ready to attempt more challenging moves. I have always felt extremely safe training at Firefly.
I started training at Firefly 6 years ago and have considered it home ever since! I have continually felt challenged in every class while also being able to succeed at things I never thought I’d be able to do! The atmosphere is one of community and support and it’s the reason I’ve stayed for so long, the other being their continued commitment to safety and awareness. I’ve never once felt unsafe in a class. Thanks Firefly! You’re never getting rid of me haha
Such an amazing place. My daughter has been taking aerials here for 6 years and couldn't love it more! I took a class myself at one time. They are super professional and ensure safety at all times.
After attending four other circus schools, I'm not impressed with Firefly and the curriculum they follow, very dry and slow paced more money spent on moving up too slowly, way over priced for the quality of class. I didn't appreciate the instructors inability to take my situation into consideration leaving me unable to train. After knowing what other schools offer I won't be returning to firefly.
Firefly is an amazing aerial studio with a focus on safety and friendliness. It’s a sanctuary where you can leave the troubles of the world behind and find positive people all wanting to learn and grow. They’re excellent at providing that extra feeling of security by having such stringent cleaning practices and I really appreciate it. Annie Definitely has our safety in mind and at heart. Germaphobes welcome! ️
