Since my in-person appointment with Dr. Makus, the instructions were to email the office admin. within 1-2 weeks, as Dr. Makus was going to consult a colleague & update me once they connected. I emailed 2 weeks later.... Well... IT'S BEEN 2 MONTHS & WE'RE STILL RIGHT WHERE WE WERE!!!!! After several emails & phone calls went unanswered, I finally received a reply one month later which said \I will be in touch as soon as I know more\. Obviously, this response is unacceptable - to which I replied (see attached photo - their response to that is included). Fast-forward another month... I STILL have not heard back from admin. Needless-to-say, the level of disrespect & invalidation I feel is immense. I can't believe this is how a professional healthcare organization conducts their business!

I appreciated the attention, expertise and mindfulness of Dr Makus; I would recommend him in a heartbeat. All things being equal, it was a referral from a private citizen, for an alternate treatment that had worked for them, which ultimately cured my concussion symptoms. NUCCA chiropractic treatment (putting my C1 vertebrae back into its correct position) cured my years long battle with concussion symptoms almost overnight (May 2020). I did had to go back for another NUCCA treatment (July 2020) after the fact, as I was jumping/exorcizing over the course of a weekend - and it must have been one jump too many, I felt the vertebrae dislodge again (immediate return of concussion symptoms). Since my last adjustment, I've been great, had a fairly aggressive ski outing in the mountains this past weekend, no concussion symptoms to report.
