We have been praying and looking for a church for a while now and I must say it is tough finding a church that is not crazy about conforming to the culture that has no regard for the Bible. As soon as we visited Calvary Community Church, my Husband and I where smiling all through the service because we knew we where home. The sermon was scripturally sound and the Pastor preached with a zeal that is much needed today. The congregation is made up of people of different generations who where all actively involved especially the older folk. They did not just sit and allow the younger generation take over completely which is so important to us. We have been looking for a church that values the older generation and considers them an extremely important part of the church. The songs where a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs which is a rare combination I thought was not possible. Really appreciated the music. The children's department is excellent and our children enjoyed it. If you are looking for a church that wants to remain true to the Bible in these times we live in, I highly recommend giving Calvary Community church a visit. We almost gave up on our search but we are so convinced that God himself led us here. Thank you Calvary Community Church. I pray you remain true to the gospel. Please do not worry about having a crowd every Sunday. Lots of churches that have numerous services on Sundays are not necessarily filled with people who want to live with eternity in view. They are filled with people whose ears want to hear the watered down gospel that does not convict and inwardly transform. A gospel that denies Christ as Lord over every area of life. We thank God for leading us here.
