Thus place has been here for years and years. Nothing glamorous. There were plenty of people, but it was still quite quiet. Hasbrowns with breakfast were not fried up with orange or yellow seasoning, and they were so delicious. Eggs cooked perfectly, coffee was fresh and hot. Check out the price!!!! A very vibrant gem of a restaurant, enjoyed by young people as well as the older generations. Oh and coffee IS INCLUDED with breakfast, not charged separately. Great owners, excellent service. Was hesitant to go here because of the location but the food and service was amazing. Very comfy place, very good prices, very good food. Its a perfect little diner :)
This place is is cozy, the atmosphere is homey and pleasant kinda like being in grandma's kitchen. The food is nothing short of delicious!! So remember to thank the men in the kitchen. The servers are pleasant kind and are quick on their toes. Definitely like coming here, when I'm in the area.
Lunch was served fairly quickly, maybe 15-20 min wait for a chicken salad for me and a club sandwich and fries for my boyfriend. Friendly, homey atmosphere. Big windows so you can see everything that's going on outside (in a good way). Food itself was decent, nothing crazy but good quality. Would recommend if you have a full hour for your lunch.
I lived in Ottawa and surroundings for 25 years and this was by far the best breakfast (and other foods) around. You get your meal the way you want it. The owner (damn, forgot his name) and Cathy "the best server out there" , made sure you were welcome and served promptly. I miss you folks, but hopefully I'll visit summer 2019. Breakfast for sure. I was so welcomed when I got there, they are so friendly, but in a very genuine way, no fake hostess feeling! The Food is wonderful, the pizza is incredible, no crust to throw away here, it's crispy, golden, and plenty if topping! The prices are very reasonable for us common folk.
