Home Slice Cuisineart

I have been shopping here for years for children, and today was the 80th anniversary off the store. Congratulations, and thank you for all the wonderful toys and gifts we have purchased! The lovely and personable man who helped me also gave me a gift bag with my specific purchase order, and in it I received points for 100 worth of merchandise/ points to be redeemed! I am delighted, and want to thank the store for their ongoing amazing service and wonderful educational toys and books for the children in my life. (N.B, I would still write this review if I had not won anything :))

Smile Speech Therapy

I own a pediatric Speech Therapy practice close by to this Scholar’s Choice and do all my laminating and my share of shopping for kids therapy toys and materials here. They have so many great games and educational materials and don’t forget to venture down to the basement if you’ve never seen all the stuff down there. I recently bought a game that had a defective piece and they were so helpful and replaced the piece for me—easy peasy. Great customer service. Things aren’t cheap but neither are they anywhere else—so best to shop when there’s a sale. Overall, amazing staff and store!

The attitude of the manager and sales people is always moody and dismissive. It’s certainly not a place for Middle School/High School teachers (Intermediate). It seems to be rocket science to show teachers who are interested in specific resources around. Let’s not mention the fact that they have no idea what they have in the store. The typical response is “Go look in that section over there”. Perhaps this store should turn into a day care/early education/primary education store. I guess selling toys and bulletin board borders is their specialty.

Organized, clean, and well stocked. Toys, puzzles, etc are upstairs while teaching resources are downstairs.
