This place is fantastic if you love eagles like I do. They flew so close I could see their amazing faces.

Amazing views along this river with a designated parking area to stop and enjoy the scenery. I loved the sound of water rushing by, to me it is soothing and calming.

It was a very nice walk on the path even though it was cold when I visited. Strolling along the riverbank is now my new favorite activity here :)

Such a pleasant bike ride to this quaint and tranquil spot. There is a gravel path that hugs the river. You can ride with hybrid or mountain bikes, but the gravel is a bit too rough for road bikes. there’s plenty of information about eagles, their seasonal habits, nesting times and cool facts about their anatomy. I learned that they have hollow bones that weigh less than half of their 7000 feathers! Alas, I wasn’t lucky enough to catch any eagle sightings, but enjoyed sitting by a bench and watching the river swirl by. At one point I thought I saw an otter pop its head up. Maybe? Come check this spot out, lovely views and a quintessentially Squamish spot. Down the path a little way, there’s a bustling café!

Second time in Squamish B.C. Drove from Vancouver it takes around 1h, route is beautiful I wish I had motorcycle here. On the way to Squamish U can visit Britanica mining museum. There is plenty to do here. And if you are in fishing plenty of salmon and steelhead here just must be in season when they run.
