Love the Chickadee Cabin! It's like having a cottage without all the maintenance. Great place. Quiet, clean and comfortable.
We love it here. We stay at the eco cabins and they are great. Comfy and a great place to stay while you enjoy Algonquin.
We rented in October and it was awesome to the max! The cabin itself was immaculate, warm and cozy. The power got knocked out in a storm the night before and these folks didn't miss a beat. The generator was fired up so we still had water and hot water and an extension chord for essentials (we just played board games by candle light anyway and the stove warmed the place up perfectly). They provided candles for the evening and we still had the bbq to cook until power was back. The location was so convenient - we spend the day working highway 60 and hitting trails - when came back power was restored and things were even better. We would text our host and get timely practical responses. We plan on staying there again for sure! al
We had one of the Cabins. It it's a quite place to calm down from the stressing citylife. The Cabins have everything you can ask for and even more (a grill!) - plus it's pretty close to the national park.
My absolute favorite place in Ontario! Such a chill and calm environment. Owners are fantastic people, prices are great. Very close to the West Gate of Algonquin. There are a variety of accommodation options and clean bathrooms. I've met so many people around their community fire pit, so many memories. Oh and wood is included!
I've stayed here a couple of times when I visit Algonquin and I would stay here again. The cabin is very unique, it feels very homey but still maintains the wooden cabin feeling. The common kitchen area is very social and I always meet great people here
Great place as always! Really enjoyed sitting on the dock on the water. Had a blast even though we got some rain. Super friendly staff too.
