You want to know about the pies. These famous pies are known for freshness. The peach and apple were in season and it's a treat when naturally ripe. Naturally sweet with lots of apple and peach flavours without it being overly sugary like you'd find with grocery store pies. Same with the cookies. Not sweet like normal store cookies but simply good and lets the full flavour come out. If you value flavours and savoring the tastes, these pies and cookies are a real treat. Size is large, price is good despite what some other review said because when priced against other farm store pie or specialty shop, Dyment is actually a bit lower. This is a Lexus of pies, so don't be expecting grocery store Ford price like others may expect. It's NOT on the same level. Compared to other Farm market stores, Dyment's is right up there and you can't go wrong. Do go early to avoid selling out and disappointment. There are line-ups to get in. It's worth the wait. If you are visiting friends, these are the pies you bring over to impress. Get them while they are still in season.

Amazing local farm market...the best tarts, cookies, meat pies, ready to heat dinners, great staff. Need a tree? Need snacks? Closing Christmas Eve, but the best place for local fruit and veggies, fry truck in the summer, too. Love this place. Make sure you go!!

I started out here getting butter tarts that were epic but since have tried many other things - all excellent! I’d recommend chicken pot pie, chocolate chip cookies, coconut cookies and although the lasagna was not very Italian it was very nice with lots of fresh oregano. I love the empire cookies too - I suggest trying everything.

Such a cute country side store. Loved all the baked products. Fresh veggies and fruits available along with freshly baked products. They have a food truck which serves excellent fries and hotdogs. Definitely a must visit. Do enjoy it on the picnic benches.

Wonderful experience stopping by this place. Smells fantastic like fresh baked goodness. The food truck was also amazing. Had the brisket sandwich and fries. Tasted delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by if in the area.

Open For Business and on a Sunday, day before Thanksgiving. We were touring Hamilton and Dundas today and looked for a Farmers Market on Google. Dyment's Market Bakery was the only option and turned out perfect. First time visit and what a pleasant surprise to find this Bakery. Clean, observing covid-19 rules and regulations and full of bakery sweets. Although there was a line up of hungry shoppers everyone was in a great mood and loved chatting. Majority of them wanting to meet our dog Clooney. Once we got to the windows and looked in I was wow. The work and cooking involved prior to this day, my hat off to the staff and owners. Pies, tarts, breads, cookies to name a few. Once inside we knew where to go first and grabbed a few Apple pies, Peach pies, then we took over the Tarts section. We didn't keep other shoppers outside long and moved fast enough so others could enter. But the sweets outstanding and couldn't wait until after dinner. We will not remember this option next time in Hamilton and or Dundas. Oh we will add Clooney to the photos as he made for great conversation while waiting.

Butter tarts to die for. Perfect amount of filling to shell ratio and consistency/texture. Hold up surprisingly well after 3 days in fridge (only because I have no self control), maybe even better to some degree?! This is great for when you worry about if buying too much and then have to consume it all in one sitting.
