Dundas Conservation Area is fantastic. There are many trails which lead to ponds, creeks, ruins. Good for hiking, bike rides, picnics and horse back riding. There is parking and of course the trail center which has park information, including trail maps and event calendars. It also has washrooms and a snack bar. It looks like an old train station and even has a couple antique train cars.

You can bike there from the populated area of Hamilton. It's a pretty cool ride. You can stop here to rest from your ride. It's a really beautiful place where you can even have a picnic.

Quaint railway station in the middle of the conservation area. It's a replica and never actually serviced trains. Has a sort of educational vibe inside with displays and information about the areas animals and geology. There is seating inside and outside as well as a small stall inside that sells drinks and snacks. Bathrooms are downstairs as well as port-o-potty outside. Many brochures inside for information on other areas and wildlife that can be seen in the area

Kilometers of trails winding through beautiful conservation area. Visitor center has gift shop and snack bar for a quick snack and refreshment. Several different areas available for parking depending on where you enter. Parking may require a payment unless you have a conservation pass which is available for an annual fee. The annual pass is a great deal as it allows free entrance to a number of different conservation areas throughout Hamilton and the Dundas Valley. Trails are accessible year round although might be challenging to walk/bike depending on the winter weather. Awesome for fat bikes!

Friendly and informative staff. The trails are great and meander through numerous different types of local forest. Wasn't a big fan of how busy it was nor the groups of bicycles blowing past us from all directions.
