I closed my 17 year old daughters account that I was paying for on November, 2019 then just recently found out there is an additional charge. No written notice was given, they just attempted to call. I was surprised to receive a written notice of the supposedly due amount from a collection agency today (Sept 18, 2020). I called to try to straighten it out but to late, already at collections. It took them over 9 months to decide more money was owed but less then a month or two to send it to collections. I had been with Western Financial for 20 years with multiple policies. Now my daughter has this mark on her credit rating before establishing one. All for a lousy 65.66
