We have been going to Draperies Georgette for over 30 years to get our made to measure curtains, never disappointed! Great family run business with the best prices and customer service in town. Expectations going into the boutique: looking for nice colorful drapes for our living room Sales pitch from Georgette: we have these very nice lime-green linen drapes which are machine washable that you’re going to love. Results: 1 week later, I go back to pick them up (since I asked them to be cut to specific length), go back home, open them up and I read the label... see for yourself. Lesson learned: whatever they say, make sure to read the label before paying as all sales are final (convenient for them). I have to add that I did call them back to understand why they sold me something that was not what they had said it was. I’ll spare you the drama and conclude that their defensive and arrogant attitude, telling me « I should’ve asked specifically for linen drapes if I wanted to » and « they don’t understand what the problem was », was enough to be entirely disappointed. Beware of what they sell you and ask for proof.
