Before lockdown we went for a drive through Michell's Bay, found it quite nice and look forward to seeing it in the spring and summer

Didn't expect much, there are a lot of \shore\ trails in this region. However, this isn't that, it feels like a walk in a delta / estuary, so I feel it deserves 5 stars. The trail is between a field and a canal, and the canal is fairly wild, full of life (and a bit musty). Hiked it around noon, it was still teaming with birds, non stop chirping and flying around, and in the canal we saw turtles and muskrats and fairly large fish. As other reviewers have mentioned there are also informative placards, several wood statues, and a flintstone mobile :) along the way, see photos.

Beautiful place to go walking, there is also a nearby beach and the pub bars look like they got good food.
