At first everything was fine, but during the initial meeting they made a couple mistakes with our information we needed to correct for them. We were concerned but not yet turned away. However, despite their assurances that people rarely get audited, we ended up getting audited. Concerned, we took this to them, and they scrambled to help us deal with the audit. They submitted the information to the auditors and we almost lost a large portion of our income tax refund. At this point, we decided to handle it on our own, and managed to figure out for ourselves how to correct the issue. So in conclusion, they are okay, but I feel strongly that we would have been better off on our own.
Staff was friendly. We hired them to handle our HST for last year and they did so. This was our first year with them. At the end of the year once HST was filed and paid we returned to pick up all of our paperwork and receipts only to find that they lost them. At first we thought perhaps they were simply misplaced so we left and they said they would continue to look for them. We didn't hear back so we stopped in again later on and still no receipts. Fast forward several months and we receive a notice from Revenue Canada that they have a question about the HST filing and want to see the supporting paperwork/receipts. We stopped in at Diamond Tree this past week and were again told they can't find them. So our first experience with a bookkeeping/HST service has turned into us having to face Revenue Canada saying we can't show support for the HST filing because our accountants lost our receipts. Diamond Tree has offered the solution that we need to remember what receipts we brought in to them and go back to each store/vendor and ask for copies of all those receipts.

She makes sure that you take advantage of all the available credits without paying any extra penny. Heather is the queen of bookkeeping. Diamond Tree Accounting truly provides the value for the money they charge for providing their services. I would highly recommend going to Diamond Tree Accounting for any tax and accounting matters.
These guys know their stuff. They are fantastic to work with, well priced, and very knowledgeable. Need your taxes done, want them to check the last 10 years worth of returns, or need bookkeeping? I wouldn't go anywhere else.
No call back or follow up after several attempts to set up a long term personal accounting plan with them. Did our taxes (not cheaply) and never heard back.
They "estimated" numbers for us, they didn't return phone calls or emails for weeks, even with us calling multiple times. Terrible service.
