Update as of January 6/21 - the pharmacy's still bad. Because of the response to my first review, I decided to give them another chance. I online submitted my refill, supposed to be prepared for Saturday. I go to pick it up Tuesday, knowing that they rarely get things done on time - and they can't find it. Turns out they got my request, but never filled it (yet again), so they tell me to return in an hour. The local Walmart pharmacist has been way more helpful and reliable than Shoppers, and so that's where I'll be going from now on. Fool me once... Original review - The inconsistent customer service is a problem. I've repeatedly dropped off prescriptions and been told it will be done in an hour, or by the next day, only to be told to come back again because it isn't done. It's really frustrating. Don't bother calling the pharmacy either; every time I have, they've put me on hold and forgotten about me. I've never gotten an apology for the multiple times I've been forgotten on hold, either. Some of the cashiers are great - friendly and efficient. Some are incredibly lazy. It's not uncommon for a couple of the younger cashiers to linger on rearranging shelves or checking their cell phones even when there are long line-ups. That said it's really clean and organized and they often have decent sales on items.

The post office employees at this location, with one exception, are great. They are positive, professional and do their best to give you good advice on saving fees on shipping. Unfortunately the pharmacy seems inefficiently run and always behind. My prescription is on auto refill but it often takes several days from the request day to when it is ready. The staff at the pharmacy I’ve found to be largely unhelpful and indifferent- on at least three occasions telling me to go home and call if I want to update a prescription , when I’m standing right in front of them at that moment. Recently I’ve noticed a few more staff and one pleasant pharmacy assistant who tried to help me today so I’m hopeful they are trying to fix it. Its a very convenient location but I’ll start going elsewhere if they can’t resolve the issues in the pharmacy.

I got my prescriptions from Shoppers Tsawwassen (56 St.) store from 1983 to 2017 and always had great service, although at busy times it was slower. I moved my prescriptions only because another store is closer to my new home. The beauty department has expanded over the years, and now carries many luxury brands, with a knowledgeable cosmetician on duty most days and early evenings. Selection is excellent in all categories, including the food department, which carries President's Choice and some yellow No-Name brands. With its long open hours, I try to visit when the store is less busy (weekday mid-afternoons and after 7:00 pm). I find it unfortunate that the store does not have delivery service.
